Physical Space is an interdisciplinary design practice with an emphasis on architecture, interior design, and brand design. We are a woman-owned practice dedicated to creating environments for human connection and elevated potential.

Founded as Open Studio Collective in 2015 by Allison Bryan, Physical Space works nationally with offices in Bozeman, Montana, and Ojai, California. Our portfolio spans contemporary residences, mixed-use commercial projects, and wellness and hospitality destinations across the United States.

OFFERINGS

We offer complete architectural design, guiding projects from concept to completion. Our work spans residential and commercial spaces, moving through every phase: schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.

For interiors, we define or refine the atmosphere of a space with considered selections in finishes, fixtures, lighting, and furniture. When needed, we manage procurement to ensure each element aligns seamlessly with the whole.

We design immersive branded environments where physical space and visual identity are inseparable. Our architects, interior designers, and graphic designers work in unison to shape experiences in both 2D and 3D, logo and identity systems, collateral, environmental graphics, wayfinding, and signage. Each is integrated into the built environment.

When a project doesn’t require the full scope of architectural services, we offer focused consultations to clarify vision, set priorities, and establish a clear path forward. This approach supports early-stage ideas or self- and contractor-led renovations, delivering creative direction without a long-term commitment.
